This is my 12th knife.3" blade,7"oal.Blade is 1095,copper bolster and butt cap, ebony spacers. The handle is a leg bone from my first white tail.Hand stitched sheath.I wanted it to look kinda old so I blued it with boiled sumac, then before it set up buffed it off unevenly with steel wool.<hr>

I really like it. Good usable design, nice work in the bone, good lines and balance and that chunk of brass (or copper, I can't tell) really shows the work you put into it. A++

P.S. If you really want an antique look, try boiling a blade in walnut hulls like we used to do to our traps.

Very nice, Rebos. Beautiful, functional design. I like the idea of that deer bone, makes for a tool with a special sentimental value. And the curve in that grind really comliments the nice curves of the overall design. Have you ever cut up any sumac and seen what the grain looks like? It would need to be stabilized for knife handle purposes, but it is gorgeous stuff. Congrat's! :)

If you all kept doing work like that
I`ll never catch up.:) Good job man.:D

For an old look try uncut white vineger

They just keep getting better,Keep up the GREAT work!!!!!!!
Awesome looking knife!!!!!

I like how the curve of the handle, and the curve of the bolster, and the curve of the grind line compliment each other and flow together. It is very pleasing to look at.

Sincerely,
Rob

:) Thanks everyone,It's good to hear that I may be doing something right! Yes Rhinoknives,it was done on a disc.5" delta, one speed,TOO FAST and no reverse so when grinding one side of the blade all the sparks were shooting up,right in my face.Had all kinds of little red marks all over my forehead. Thanks again to all.
