I like the 102 blade but the handle is too short for me.When I viewed a Buck 602 I couldn't help but notice that the handle was much larger and more hand filling than the regular 102.So when a 602 came up for sale I bid on it and won the bid at a little over $17.00.

I believe there wasn't much interest because the knife was dirty, had scratches on the blade and was devoid of a sheath.I hoped that I could remove the grime on the handle.I knew I could rehabilitate the blade and I had a Buck sheath just waiting for a knife.

Here it is after undergoing sportingsepcialist's spa treatment.LOL

I have a 119 with that handle. The 619. Very comfortable and lots of grip. Congrats, I would like to have that model too. Very nice.

Looks great! Nice score!

Thanks.

I was fortunate that no one else was interested in it.It was not in such bad condition as the pictures may have led some to believe.

This new 602 is now the little brother of my 639. I discovered that my 639 fits the 119 Brahma sheath exceptionally well.
