my 1st and 2nd knives WIP

all i have is a hacksaw and hand files so its taken me awhile and i still have lots to do but ive been admiring you guys for quite sometime so i figure i can finally show a little somethin

please i need all the advice i can but these will all be done by hand considering im a broke ass 23 yr old and i really know NOTHING about metals but am definently learning fast thanks to all of you

on this site.

i realize the butts will be a pain but man theres nothing i love more then a nice butt!

What steel are you using?
Plan on heat treating yourself or sending it out?

ah thank you sir

its 1084 and i kinda want to try to heat treat it myself and keep with primitive theme

but i definently plan on sending them out once i make some good ones
