I placed an order recently for a couple of knives from Brett with an expected delivery time of 5 or 6 months. I ordered a swayback and a dog leg. Lucky for me a swayback with natural linen micarta (exactly what I had ordered) became available and Brett called and asked if I wanted it. Pfft....like I'm going to say no. :)

Two minutes after opening the box I had dropped the knife, scuffed the pivot pin and cut myself closing it. This was meant to be. I've never sold a knife I cut myself with so I guess I'm stuck with this one. :p

This is quite a nice little knife....feels great in the pocket (almost not noticeable) and also in hand. It came very sharp. I wish I would have chosen a different background color for the pictures....I'll retake them but here is what I have for now.

Brett is great guy and extremely easy to deal with so get those orders in before his wait time gets too long as it surely will.

What a great little EDC knife.I have heard nothing but great things about Brett's knives & that he's great to deal with,as well.

Sidenote & not meant as off topic/hijack :
It's good to see knives like this being made & available,in the current economic times, affordable - useable custom pocket knives.

Congrats morrowj & Brett,

i dont understand why swaybacks bite so many people. i have gotten it twice my self and i know two other knifemakers who i have saw with my own eyes get cut always closeing the knife.

Rick, go ahead a cut yourself with the one you are making for me, if you want, so maybe it won't feel like it has to cut me:D Don't drop it though;)

Very nice indeed:thumbup:
Bet that won't be your last.:D
