I recieved my first one today, Gentleman Jim. OH SHIT!!!! Now I know what you guys are always talking about. It is by far my favorite knife now!!!! It took me about 5 minutes to get it opening smooth, but I have 1 question. This is also my first linerlock. This thig locks up TIGHT!!! I have to use a penny sometimes to unlock it!! What do I need to do to fix this?


Also- first attempt at using WAVE feature..... I sliced my finger WIDE open:D
 
Congratulations on the purchase. The Gentleman Jim looks like a beautiful knife!

The liner lock should smooth out after using it repeatedly.
 
Congrats! I have a GJ (#138) and it's a beautiful knife.

The liner lock indeed smooths out after a while.

Hope your finger ain't torn up too bad, best wishes for that.

A little bit of pencil graphite where the blade meets the lock with smooth things out for awhile:thumbup:
