First off, I should say I have this knife b/c of Mistwalker's awesome review of the Bushfinger- I'm going to guess I'm not the only one turned on to Fiddlebacks by that review!

Here 'tis- a Ladyfinger. It is a wood eating machine! Gave it a short work out and wow- a great knife. Does fuzz sticks without effort, has great control, batoned some small stuff like a champ and went through small branches like nothing.

The only thing I struggled with, it pinched my hand a little below the V between my index and middle fingers. From the handle being a little small to me maybe? I'll be getting it out more and look forward to see how it does next to my favs- my Swamp Rat Howling Rat, Scrap Yard S5 and Weiner Dog. I have some nice knives! ;):D

Very nice man. I one day hope to make a post like yours. i still don't have one yet.I'm waiting on a Bushfinger.

Is this the LF that Lee's Cutlery had that I was eyeballing?

Jealous......

I had eyeballed the ladyfinger for a long time and thought I was going to go with that design until Andy come out with the Bushfinger. I love Andy's grinds and I love his handles, never had any pinching with mine.

Good eye!

Don't know how either- that picture on the website was dark- this is much more attractive in person!

Was funny, the birthday is coming up and I hit my wife with a list of knives. She came up with this and it was mailed home instead of her office. Got to find it when I came home early Thursday. Early B-Day :D:thumbup:!!

I was drooling over the Bushfinger, but waiting isn't a strong point of mine with knives! ;):D

Cool! Good to see it getting used!

The Ladyfinger is a nimble knife, and the handle is narrower spine to edge than any of the others. Keep us posted as your testing results flow in.

It sure is a beauty. That handle looks really nice. I'm hoping to get a Ladyfinger as my first non-production Fiddleback. I have a production recluse, but I *really* want a ladyfinger for trout fishing. I hope that there is still something @ Lee's by the time I get some money! :)

I was surprised from reading it as a trout/bird knife b/c it's a stout blade!... sub 3/16" maybe? Went through chicken last night like nothing but not as effective with veggies b/c of the thickness. For me, it's more an allround tough, camp knife. (in a great looking package! ;):D

Great hard use knife in my eyes...

For all the Bushfinger fans I will say this- I really like the sway on the spine, felt great for me when i chocked up on the blade...

The thickness has varied between 5/32" and 3/32" thick. A 3/32" thick one is a great bird and trout. 5/32 ones are great for bushcrafting.

I'm hoping for something a little stout though. I have a BRKT bird and trout that I usually use but it's so thin that I always end up carrying something else also so I was hoping to split the difference. Well that and just trying to make up excuses to buy more knives of course... :D

Don't get me wrong- a one word description for this knife would be awesome!
