This was my first mini kife order, I thought I'd share. This little tanto is 4" total length with a Del Ealy "vines pattern" damascus blade, flat ground with a tapered spine. The guard and pin are brass and the handle is Spring Bok horn with a red spacer at the collar. Definitely a change of pace.
 
That is way too cool. Love the damascus pattern - does it look that good in real life. Just fits the whole mini thing.

Great design and execution.

Thanks. Actually Steve, it does. The knife itself actually looks better in person. My camera is finally dying. Time to get a new one.
I like making my own damascus but, Delbert makes some patterns that are just outstanding. Rene Roy carries Del's damascus and at really good prices- http://www.geocities.com/royknives/ (the site takes a minutes to load but, it's worth it).
 
J. Way to cool. Can't believe that's a mini. Very well proportioned. Plus, can't believe that vine pattern. Haven't seen that before. Excellent package.

Very nice, and a big part of that is that the being a mini I think suits that pattern of damascus well. Some of effect would be lost with full size blade, adn how many "vines" would be there, but in this size, looks amazing.
 
Nice job J! I have a warm spot in my heart for the traditional japanese point and you pulled it off nicely. That one fits together very well. I like the damascus too, very dramatic and fits the package perfectly. So what is Tess going to do for this one? :D
