Had the pleasure of returning from a business trip to see the instantly recognizable box brought by the BTOJ. I knew it was going to contain my BA3 w/ Busse special ground Symetrical edge.
Picked up the box, hefted it and thought, damn, he makes heavy knives...real heavy....heavier than my SJ, in fact. Heavier than my NO, in fact.

Sliced open the box and found not one, but TWO BA3's...perfectly ground with a high grind symetrical edge...one in Snakeskin, the other in plain.

Now, even though I am a judge I am NOT a larcenous soul, usually... I pondered, if only for a brief 6 hours, on how the Gods were so good to me that I deseved this unexpected Busse bonus. I mean, after all, I am a reasonably nice guy, a repeat customer, polite to old ladies and kind to dogs....surely Jerry knew this and was rewarding me, right? I get to keep the bonus knife, right? It was a signal to me from him that I am chosen, right?

So, I called Jerry to thank him and the kind crew for their largesse and to congratulate them on two jobs well done.

" WE sent you 2 knives, 2 knives? And you only paid for one? And you are calling to tell us? Boy, you are too supid to deserve that extra knife, send it back and I will ship you one of our special offshore Paki versions made from bedspring steel, it is much nicer...you will like it better."

"You mean it wasn't my bonus knife?"

Deflated, I returned the knife...but I am looking forward to the Paki-steel one on its way to me. :)

Good job, and dont forget to post pics of the special when ya get it..:D

Geoff,

It is Paki-Infi. . . (that means it's made from the rear bumper of an old jeep. . . that's good stuff my friend. . . .much better than the old horseshoes that are normally used.

Did you you think I hung up on you? No, no, no, my judicially challenged friend, that was the sound of a Carling Black Label being opened at the realization that we've been sending free knives to people. ;)

Jerry

Well if THATs the case, I'll be up, and you can save on the shipping charges, and still pop the tops for giving away free INFI.

Lemme see, Toledo, turn left.....

Maybe this explains the LE Argonne that came a couple weeks ago with the Assault Shaker I ordered:cool:...:p

Jerry Rocks!!!:D:D:D

LMAO :D

Jerry, don't give away all the PakINFI reserve.....heck, you've got folders to make ;)

I must be in the "bad books" because I ordered two knives and only received one  - a second knife arrived a few days later after a phone call to the shop. :)

So that's where my Argonne is:grumpy:

You sent back a free knife Uh huh huh. Huh Huh One Jerry wouldn't have missed. Huh huh you're dumb and stuff. Just joking. Actucally this couldn't have happened at a stranger time. Just the other day Jerry calls me right... And asks me if I will head up a department for Busse Combat. It's a deparment designed specially for these kinds of mistakes. And that's all it was. The stroke of a 2 on the key board instead of a 1 on the Qty row. So to make things run smoother at Busse Combat I am set up now to handle these types of problems. Instead of bothering the office staff at Busse Combat. Just email me... I can give you the proper address to send these over shipped knives. See Busse Combat has sooooo much mail traffic that it's sometimes impossible to keep track of it all. So to have packages coming in all the time would slow them down in getting eveyone their knives on time. So they have a competely seperate address for shipping these extra knives. So just contact me and I'll take care of everything else. I can even cut you a check afterwards to pay you back for the shipping charge you incured mailing it back. Because the order mistake was not your fault now was it? So I can write you a personal check and at the end of the month I turn in my bank statement to Jerry to show what checks were written in the name of Busse Combat and he pays me. That's how it works so just let me know when this happens and I'll take care of everything. Just one more way Busse Combat is taking care of it's customer base. Because we care about what you think. And that's hard to find in a Knife Company I think you will all agree.

Now all I have to do is sit back and let my "Yes Men" do all my work for me. The world shall soon be mine for the taking.

That happened to me once...

2 ZT NOs arrived at my door...

Lets just say it pays to be honest....

heh heh
