I'd love to see many of your knives from this year, for those who care to share. Might be better in its own thread then here, but either way is cool. I like posting photos so I want to show off a bit as a proud owner. I had a pretty decent year. Not too many knives but some real goodies.
I considered myself very lucky to land this dreamy B.R. Hughes award winner from Mike Quesenberry. He was really cool about getting me a spot on his MS submission list since I was so passionate about his work.
Meanwhile there was a delay in testing for his MS stamp so in the meantime Mike sold me this fantastically clean hunter which blew my mind. Hes one of my new favorite makers and great great guy to boot.
Terry Vandeventer made this English Bowie knife early in the year and I begged him to make a deal with me when it returned from Little Rock Its stunning to me and a bit different from my others.
The last knife I will be getting in the near future when I am ready for it and pay off my debts. Its my first Knife from Sam. I prefer a polished blade with a hamon, or damascus- but you can't be too choosy when a gorgeous Lurqin comes your way. I always loved the Raptor model. This is the prototype I believe. HUGE thanks to Ryan Hayes for thinking of me and hooking me up when his buddy decided to sell it.
Working this one out was complicated and I sold and traded a large gold coin collection to aid in purchasing it. A Hanson Auto I have wanted for YEARS.. top of the want list.
