I just wanted to say thanks to Spyderco, I have bought some great Spyderco knives this year. A lot of 2's and a couple of first. Jumpmaster 2 is my first ever Spyderco Fixed Blade. Genzow HatchetHawk is my first ever Spyderco Hatchet. This is a 100% positive post for the knives I bought this year. I love them all, I put a lot of thought and time into each knife before the purchase. I am extremely happy with all of them, but the top two are the Genzow HatchetHawk and the Autonomy 2. If you can get one or both of these I highly recommend them. I am looking forward to a great 2019, there are many Spyderco Knives that I want to add and I know there will be many new pieces that will surprise us. Happy New Year!

1. Jumpmaster 2
2. Delica Wharncliffe
3. ATR 2
4. Genzow HatchetHawk
5. Autonomy 2

Here’s all the Spydercos I picked up in 2018. Like I’ve said elsewhere, more than I anticipated going in. Each one is a keeper!

ETA: I forgot to include a UKPK in the pic, but it’s staying in box for gifting...I suppose. ;)

Well, this isn't good. I originally thought I got a few less than I actually did. It looks worse on paper... I did get rid of 5, but not sure if that helps

- Chaparral CF
- Native 5 LW S110V
- Native 5 M4
- Delica 4 HAP40 G10
- Manix 2 DLC M4
- PM2 DLC M4
- PM2 CRUWEAR
- PM2 20CV
- PM2 204P
- Endura 4 HAP40
- Military Ti/CF S90V
- Military REX45

I didn't grab many Spydercos in 2018, just too much going on, but I got the FRN Chaparral and, for actual cutting work, it has rapidly become my absolute favorite knife. I'll often carry another knife that I like to look at more, or play with more, or just think is cooler or more fun, but when I actually have to cut something I reach for the Chap a startling amount of the time.

That is pretty honest, and I can really relate. I usually have two knives on me: one that is really good for the job at hand, and one that might not be quite is good, but is cool and fun. Thin, slicey blades have really grown on me recently. I started out obsessed with the overbuilt folders with thick blades, but the more I use knives, the more I just want them to cut. I still love some overbuilt folders too though.

Yup! I'm 100% going to end up with a Spyderco Tropen, because I dig the look, I think the Emerson opener is cool as heck and I want a compression lock flipper, but I'm also still probably gonna cut a lot more stuff with the Chap. I'll probably carry both at the same time quite often. ;)

Too many to list.

Just started seriously collecting knives in 2018.

The 1st Spyder that I bought this year was a Manix 2 XL at a gun show and the last I bought just a week ago off of eBay was a Des Horn. Previously owned only 2 Endura clipits (a combo and a fully serrated), a fully serrated Merlin hawkbill clipit and a plain blade Spydercard. Now own over 50 Spyders of all kinds.

My favorite buys of the year were the Amalgam, Autonomy 2, Introvert, Janisong, Perrin PPT Black and the Pattada.

2018 is definitely the year of Spyderco for me as 70% of my knife budget was on it. Here is my list of 2018 Spyderco purchases:

Spyderco Mamba (gone)
Spyderco DLC M4 Manix 2 (gone)
Spyderco KW s90v ti/cf military
Spyderco DLC M4 PM2 (gone)
Spyderco KW M4 CF PM2
Spyderco Rex 45 Burnt Orange PM2
Spyderco DLT 20cv Tan PM2
Spyderco Rex 45 Burnt Orange Military

In 2019, I'll definitely slow down, significantly. The only Spyderco that I know I'll buy is the DLT red Manix 2 and a Delica 4 of some sort. Not sure yet about purchasing a DLT red PM2. I will probably move some of my spydercos.

In 2018 I didn't get all that much. I did pick up all of these:
S110V Paramilitary 2
Delica Wharncliffe
Salt Wharncliffe(serrated)
Ladybug Salt Hawkbill
Spyderhawk Salt(sprint run, orange handles)
Manbug(V-Toku2 sprint run)
Fish Hunter

That's 7 total for all of 2018. This year will be much bigger, I've already got 5(Yojimbo 2, green Endura 4, blue Delica 4, green Efficient, yellow Tasman Salt 2 plain edge) plus a Byrd Hawkbill on the way with several others already lined up(probably ordering a Cat tomorrow). At some point this year I will definitely be getting a Native Salt in the LC200N as well.

Had a good year. Delica Hap 40 wharncliffe, Manix2 52100, Native S90 and Dragonfly are all stand outs. Surprised the 52100 Manix 2 hasn't sold out, one of my all time favorites
