My 27" ogre steak knife has arrived

I made a purchase of this beast at KH after reading abt this abomination (in a good way) from its original creator Frank Gonzalez @ KnivesByHand.com

Behold the Redemption Mukti.

Weight: 5lbs of mayhem

Sharpen False edge
The circumference of the handle is whopping 5.5"... this thing is made for ogre.
It is paper slicing sharp when it arrived.

But seriously, i won't be using it to cutting anything, who would cut anything with something weight as much as a sledge hammer...
Nonetheless, its a good conversation piece and a fun toy to have.

Its so damn heavy, i couldn't hang it on a wall.

That redemption is an awesome blade. Frank Gonzales is an awesome designer. I've ordered a few blades direct from him instead of waiting the couple of weeks to receive my order. 18 inches of blade is very impressive! I also really like that blade you have posted beside it on the last pic. What is it called, who makes it? Thanks

Off hand do know the width of Redemtion bowie above ? 5.5 ponds seems light considering its specs
