I received my new BK11 in the mail today! I already love it. Solid little knife. I like the fact that it has a bottle opener on it. There's nothing like having a couple cold ones while sitting around a campfire. My BK2 finally has a little buddy to play with in the woods. :D I have already ordered some micarta scales from Saint Cutlery on Fleabay they should be shipping out on Sat. I'm pretty psyched. Now I will have to hit someone up for a nice leather sheath ahem*skystorm*ahem. I think this is going to be my new EDC.

I got one for my brother last Christmas and liked it so much I bought one for myself about a month later. It immediately became my new EDC.

Very useful little knife.

The 11 is a fine little knife, especially if you like bottled beer. I'm not a beer guy, but I've used the bottle opener on a dozen or so bottles of Mexican soda I bought solely to get some use out of my Necker's opener.

Wait until you get an Eskabar. I've had mine a week, and I love the little thing. I can't wait for the zytel scales for the 14 to be released; they will make a good knife great.

I know what you mean. I just recently saw the history of how the 14 came to be. Pretty awesome of that guy to cut off and switch the handles with the izula and even more awesome of Ka Bar and BK&T to manufacture it.

I cant say enough about the BK-11. Its a fantastic knife! Congrats on the new blade. I think everybody should have the 2/11 combo!!

Ya know, I always wanted the 11, but got a 14 instead??!! I'm gonna have to rectify that...an 11 is definitely on the short list.

OK, so like many others on here..i just ordered the FPR BK16 so technically that will be #3 for me. woot!

not to hate on any becker, but I have handled the 11...the handle is NOT my cup of tea. I dont drink beer anyway, and the shape is not suited to my mitts. I went with the 14 and aint looked back.

that being said, i may end up with an 11 someday just to have one lol

I bought the combo-edge BK-11 kit with the factory micarta. With the micarta scales installed, it handles a lot better than a standard Necker with just a cord wrap or naked. But I'm with you on the BK-14. Mine it hasn't left my belt for a week and it's going to stay there until I get my BK-17. I love the longer handle on the Eskabar. Now, if the new Zytel handles will just get released...

I know this is pretty much dead but i wanted to at least show off my new micarta from Saint Cutlery. I really like it and helps make it a perfect fit in the factory sheath. My BK16 came in too and I think its pretty amazing. Nice mid size but still has some heft to it. However, it still doesn't feel as good in my hand as my precious BK2!
