Hey everybody. I've been a lurker here for a long time. Only recently I decided to make an account and join the fun.

I have always loved Becker knives, and I have quite a few.

About a month ago, I bought my first BK2. It's the newest model with the new coating and the laser etching.

Earlier, I found a gentleman not far from me that had a BK2 for sale. Never used, with the old ambidextrous sheath, stamping, and old coating. That was the BK2 I originally wanted.
I'm gonna go get it tomorrow. I'm pretty excited about it.

I'll probably leave it all original, and use my current BK2 as my project knife.

Since I recently bought a Hedgehog Leatherworks sheath, I've already got the newer kydex sheath for the New BK2

Now I need to find a Camillus BK2 and I'll be set :D

And a BlackJack, and a serrated Camillus...and then you'll want each of the other Beckers, too...it's a never ending problem...

Hope you enjoy the BK-2. Do you use your fixed blades often? That has always been my problem. Just don't put myself into situations regularly that I feel I need a fixed blade other than the middle sized ones or perhaps the smaller BK14/BK24 which I really like. However my woods tromping will be starting as the weather improves.

Cool! I still need to get around to getting my first bk2! What part of Kentucky are you?

I'm from McLean County

I'm hoping someday i'll run across each of my favorites... I found a BlackJack about a year ago, but the guy didn't want to sell it at the time. I have my fingers crossed that he will decide to one day. I told him I had first dibs! LOL :D

I do use the ones that I carry, Whether it be camping, hunting, or out in the back yard when I get bored lol. I also have a few that I have for collector purposes, that are in a chest in my man cave. I need to build some sort of display one of these days for those.

I have a Like New Camillus BK2 just like the one above. I'm going to need to sell it to cover my brother's medical expenses and I just haven't listed it yet. If you (or anyone) is interested feel free to PM or email me.

I wouldn't have posted this and stepped on the fella above's toes if he were actually a paying member able to sell items per forum rules. Since he isn't allowed to sell, I do not feel obligated.

I wasn't trying to sell, just a good old fashioned "look at MY toys". Or in this case a queen. Either way though I fear I may have resurrected a dead thread from an absentee member.
