This is one of my standard 360 tactical utilities that I made with some nice wood handles instead of the standard G10 or micarta.

DOne with 1/8" 1080 steel, koa slabs and G10 spacers from AKS and nickel silver pins.

Blade is 3.75" Overall 8.25"

I love working with 1/8" steel after using 1/4" on all the big blades!

Beautiful looking knife with a nice pattern in the wood's grain and the hamon and it looks very comfortable to hold too!

that really changes the look of your knife, just by changing the scale material. Do you normally do differentially heat treated blades?

I normally do the differential HT on knives that I am not going to parkerize, and depending on intended use for the knife. Mostly on my higher end hunters and bowies, but these little ones with nice wood beg for it.

Dude, this is sweet. I finally checked out your site. Need some more time to go through it better, but everything looks awesome.

I'm kind of partial to wood handles myself. You did a great job on this one. Awesome knife!

thanks for the good words guys. I like wood too, just everyone wants G10 lately!
