My 3day Pack Mod

I have been working on this off and on for the last 3 months (old Blackhawk 3day pack). Hand sewn Molle on the whole left side. Just trying to get motivated to do the other side now. I used cut up boot blousers for strap stays, for whatever reason the 3 day pack didn't come with them. My NMSFNO fits perfectly behind the first aid pouch. The inside pouch is from TAD Gear, hooked onto some parachute cord (not 550). The first few pics are what it looked like when I started. All the seams have been sealed and the whole bag has been triple soaked with campdry (about as waterproof as I can get it).

I guess so, is this your duty bag? I mean this sounds stupid, but if the 'new world order' was rasslin' up gun owners and non-believers and such, I woundn't want any indentification on me. I guess that's the first thing I thought of.

Yes, this is my duty bag, it's been with me for about 3 years now. I wear it almost everyday at work. The mod is new so I may try keeping the knife there when I go back to Iraq in Sept. Some FOBs get touche about knives for some reason, so we shall see. I was just noting that it was a good fit. Welcome to the forum.
 
Thankyou, it does look pretty good. What does 3 day pack mean? You could survive off of the contents of the bag for 3 days? Or does it have enough food and water for 3 days?
 
That’s exactly right. My Raptor Pack has all the big stuff and gear that I don't use every day. The three day assault pack has gloves, water, first aid stuff, spare socks, skivvies, ammo, food, entertainment stuff like a book and a gameboy (a good part of my job is waiting so it helps to have something to pass the time). I didn't list everything but you get the idea.
