This is my 3rd knife.
440c, 60 rockwell. 6-3/4" OAL, 1/4 thick ( I know, I should have gone thinner).
Made on a sub-par 1x42 belt grinder, very frustrating.
At first I was hoping I'd be able to sell this knife but now I'm not so sure. Let me point out the flaws.

The notch on the edge side is not a perfect radius.

Some how my bevel was messed up. This is looking at the point. I used a fixture so I'm not sure why one side is so steep. It's a straight grind.

Top notch was hand filed, is not perfectly straight.

Point is pretty close to symmetrical.

Lint on tip.
What do you guys think?

Looks nice for a third knife! try to get all the sanding marks going horizontally. Don't move up in the grits until all of the previous grit scratches are out.

I wouldn't put the notch on the spine. It won't be comfortable to hold, and is just another weak spot on the blade.

looks very good for only a third try. its funny how you do not notice lint and stuff like that until you view the photos ! happens to me all the time.

Its good that the pictures do work if you right click them. I couldn't figure it out. I'm computer challenged.
The current finish is 220 grit.
The notches in the spine are for paracord to tie into without it sliding. It's 1/4 so I didn't think it would be too weakened.

Yes it looks on from the side.
