This is my 3rd knife.
440c, 60 rockwell. 6-3/4" OAL, 1/4 thick ( I know, I should have gone thinner).
Made on a sub-par 1x42 belt grinder, very frustrating.
At first I was hoping I'd be able to sell this knife but now I'm not so sure. Let me point out the flaws.
The notch on the edge side is not a perfect radius.
Some how my bevel was messed up. This is looking at the point. I used a fixture so I'm not sure why one side is so steep. It's a straight grind.
Top notch was hand filed, is not perfectly straight.
Point is pretty close to symmetrical.
Bottom
Lint on tip.
What do you guys think?
