Just after thanks giving i had the privilage of loosing my prized BM42! I had gone out with my friends to the park behind my house and we had a snow-ball fight. Later on after the fight i found that it was missing. At first i thought i had misplaced it around the house, but after a week, it wouldent turn up. So i deduced that i had lost in in the foot of snow that covered the park. We had fought in an area of about 50'-50'. every night for 2 months i went out to the park and searched in that area, my hope fading with every step i took. I gave up in January and decided to wait until the snow melted.
Last week out of the blue I got a call from my best freind. He had found my 42!!!! I ran the half a mile to his house in a fevered frenzy. Along the way i thought of the terrible condition it must be in, after all the snow and cold and salt. I arrived at his door and he handed it to me. I poped the latch and flipped it. With a slight squeek it flipped with little resistance. I thanked him heartily and ran home. The handles were just as i left them, if a bit looser. On the blade were only the occasional spot of serface rust which i have been able to clean off with no damage to the finish. I am so happy to have it back, allthough it taught me a new appreciation for my beat up old jag. I like them both, and carry them alternating days. Allways in a sheath of coarse!! I praise BenchMade for the supperior knife it has constructed, it can hold up to the most sever elements! ALL HAIL BENCHMADE!

Sounds like you've got a good friend there! And, AHHHH, the wonders of titanium and stain-resistant steels...........

Hmm... I wonder...
Sounds like your "friend" pilfered it from your jacket, and spent the winter flipping it. Then he got bored and decided to give it back. Only, instead of bringing it to you, he made YOU run over to him to get it...

(just kidding ;-) )

(just kidding ;-) ) With a mind like yours, if we ever meet up, I'm going to be sure to keep my hand on my bali.............
