I got my Buck 426, it has a tang stamp for 1992, and it's handle is OD and says "Bucklite". On the blade it has a black emblem of a man standing at an anvil, with the large letters "WORKMAN" followed by smaller letters "TM", which that part I assume means trademark.

Anyone know about Bucks with the "WORKMAN" blade markings?

Buck knives with the "WORKMAN" etch are the same basic knife except they were marketed more toward hardware stores and to workers in various skilled trades. Some of them featured a different handle color, some were etched with the "WORKMAN" logo and some had both the etch and a different handle. In the "WORKMAN" family, you may find 110s, some 300 series models, Guildmasters (811, 812, 813), 500s, Bucklite models (425s and 426s come to mind) and probably others that I cannot remember at this time. I even think I remember a "WORKMAN" BuckTool!
I have literature from various years, especially from the early 90s that feature the Workman models. Buck even tried to market various leather tool aprons in the late 1980s. I have a catalog that features many different configurations.

Thanks!, I was glad to get it. I have wanted a 426 for my collection and they always seemed to elude me until now.
