Got a new Mountaineer I at the Gun and Knife show today. I can add this to my 3 left-handed Sevenza's. Large Classic, Small Classic and Small Standard Sebenza's. It seems to be a very nice small fixed blade knife. I thought I had this addiction under control. Anyone with any comments about the fixed blade line?
Thanks Al

I have a Mountaineer II and a Project I.I have also owned many Sebenza's.I like the size of the Mountaineer II 5.5 inch blade for an all around blade.I didn't like the pouch sheath that came with it though,so I have a On/Scene Tactical Concealex sheath for it with a holder for a Swedish Military Firesteel and a holder attachment for a DMT mini-sharp.A nice small compact system.I have of course a small variety of items in the handle and a nice SAS mini- survival compass mounted in the cap. What do I think of the CRK One Piece Line? I think they are great tools!I hope you enjoy your Mountaineer I.

Thanks Tombstone, has anyone put the SAS compas in a Mountaineer I?

I have a Project II and it is excellent, just like my Sebenza. The chopping ability even approaches the performance of the substantially larger Battle Mistress and the knurled handle gives an extremely secure grip.

Someone mentioned that the compass would fit.I believe they are 16mm wide and 5mm deep(just a touch smaller than the diameter of a dime),and if you go to Triple Aught Design look under compasses. They have it linked to SAS Compass and has a description. The compass should fit just about perfect from what I understand about the smaller caps.I bought some marine grade clear type silicone in a tube.It remains flexible, but bonds very solid, and was liquid enough to make installation pretty easy.Search for the post I made about the compass here.
