here is a pic of my 4th. 01 steel, cocobola handles, corby fasteners

OPIONS PLEASE!!!

It is just a little....I should have drilled some holes or sanded it down a bit but then again I am just a newbie. LOL I'll learn the hard way, as usual.
:(

Definitely, improving with every creation. Two thumbs-up! Keep up the good work. :)

The OAL is about 10 7/8" . I made the handle a little longer, close to 5" because of my hand being a bit wider. I did the HT myself but have no way to check RC hardness at this time. HT not hard to do. Lots of info on these boards ya know. They take and keep a good sharp edge so far. Got bald spot on my left arm to prove it. LOL :D Thanks for looking and the comments. Always great to get feedback when you are trying to get better at something.

next on your list - tapered tang. ;)

keep up the good work.

I think you're getting the hang of this here knife makin stuff!

I was going to suggest rounding the handle scales a bit in your other post but you've gone and done it here so never mind.

It looks like a nice knife, I agree drilling some holes in the tang will lighten it up. You can also use these holes to drill into the wood a little bit which when epoxied really adds to the overall bonding of the epoxy.

Looking good so far.

I really like the shape of the blade, infact thats probally the best blade shape I've seen, spear-like and straight. Though I dont like the handle at all. It just seems too simple/cheap for the blade, I don't like that it's so flat as well, I like some shape in the handle rather than just being a block put on.

Infact, does anyone know of a knife with that sort of blade...I really need to buy one now any suggestions would be great.

I don't know about all the criticism of that knife... I like it a lot. I think it looks awesome for a fourth blade. The handle isn't heavy...it's solidly built. The scales are not flat... they are geometrically parallel. :) I like it.
