I promised myself I would celebrate my 5,000th post by giving away a knife. Since the knife I planned to give away was nothing super I forgot all about it.

Well, I am now at over 5,000 posts so it's time. The knife is a 1970's Browning USA limited edition. It has an Eagle (I think) etched on one side of the blade and 0781 out of 1000 on the other (I think). I will pull it out of the safe and check later. I am pretty sure the steel is 440C
The photos are old and probably of real poor quality but who cares, it's a give away.

So, the rules; I don't care if you have 1 post on BFC or 100,000. It does not matter if you have ever posted in this forum. All that matters is that by entering you promise to USE this knife if you win the thing.

Your post serves as your number. On November 24th at midnight EST I will use a random number generator program and the 100th number the generato pulls will be the winner.

I will only pay shipping CONUS an Canada. If you live in other parts of the world and win you will have to pay all shipping costs.

Congats on your 5.474th post. Count me out on the givaway though.If I win, gift the knife to one of the new guys.

I only have a couple knives, that I don't use (for sentimental reasons). If I'm lucky enough to win yours, it WILL get used!
 
Congrats on 5000+, that's a lot of postin', count me in, I won't use the knife but I promise if I win to give it to an Eagle Scout who will if that's ok?
