I was almost going to title this thread "My Prince has arrived" but decided against it. :D

It's a great little knife. Mine was shaving sharp right out of the box. I even have a little bald patch on my arm to prove it. It locks up tight with no noticeable blade play. Although I do notice like another thread had mentioned, the blade does not snap shut and requires a push to close it all the way. Not really a bugger for me. It may need some time to break in or maybe a lube and cleaning. It is very secure in the closed position and unlikely to flop out while in pocket. The silver bolsters and wood scales give it a classic look. I picked up a black leather William Henry Clip Case so I can carry it like my clipped folders.

It is nice to have a small Buck that is convenient for daily carry. I love my 110 but it is too big to take to work.

My second oldest knife is a 503 I bought in 1982. I abused it but it is still with me and in great shape. Except for the minor dents in the frame from me using it as a hammer. :o

I hope you enjoy yours as much as I have enjoyed mine.

I got my Buck Prince and Clip Case from knifecenter.com. The case for the WH Lancet is a great fit for the Prince.

Any idea which clip case would fit a 501?? I'd been thinking about getting a 503 instead bc of the 501 being longer not as easy to carry in pocket (but I do prefer the 501) with a clipcase should be no prob.

The larger WH clippouch will fit the 501. It may be the T12?
