Hello all. I've been gone for forever from here. I've been carrying a 585 and the big Warn for a few years. Just so happens I did some work in Portland over the last couple of months. Of course Oregon City is just down the road and I made time to go by there one afternoon.:)
Was cool seeing all the BMs in one place. I got to fondle a bunch of the autos, and other stuff. Haven't really been keeping up with stuff and the new Barrages caught my eye. Well their new to me I see now that I'm back here they've been out a couple years now. I left with a 581. I know I paid too much but I wanted one from the company store. Hey at least I know it's not a fake, right?
I hadn't even heard of the M390 yet but I like everything I've read about it here. I love the Axis AO system. I was afraid I'd fall in love with a $500+ auto but they didn't have the feel of the 580/585/581. I'm used to the system, and an auto isn't any faster. I'd rather keep things similar between all my carry knives and the Axis AO works so well for me I'll stick with it until something comes along I might like better, which is highly unlikely anytime soon.

So oh yeah some pics:

I have a 580 and 581, and to me the 581 smokes the 580 in feel. It just feels SOLID. Anyway, off to more relatives house for Christmas dinner. Enjoy it! Merry Christmas!

I initially didn't want a 581. When the prices were about to go up, I told my cousin and he asked for some advice about purchasing a benchmade. After I told him everything I knew about the models he was interested in, He ended up choosing a 586. After I got to handle his 586, I realized how good of a knife it really was. So after finding a somewhat decent deal, I bought one. Just waiting patiently at this point for it to arrive.
