Here Is my 5th knife, A drop point skinner
I decided to try a patina on it using Horseradish.
I kept the tang silver to add a little contrast
I like how it turned out.

3/16 - 1095 Heat Treated by Peters Heat Treat
OAL - 8 15/16''
Blade - 3 1/2''
Handle - 4 1/2''
Hand rubbed to 600 grit, with a patina
Scales are Cocobolo

let me know what you think!!

I think the scales look good on this one Ernie:thumbup:

How do you like the patina? In the pictures it comes across very nice.

Pretty soon we will be seeing tapered tangs;) from you .

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Ken,

I really like how the patina turned out, I did two different coat with horseradish sauce.

I am happy with the results and how the contrast is with silver and patina on the spine.
