This is my 6th complete knife, I'm pretty happy with how it and the sheath turned out, of course its not perfect but every knife I make seems to get better!
Specs:
1/8 O-1 tool steel flat groud with a slight convex cutting edge
1/4 black linen micarta scales with green spacers and 3/16 SS pins and 1/4 SS lanyard tube
Sheath is Digi camo kydex from knifekits.com held together with screw posts and the belt loop is some leather I had laying around

Comments, Criticism Welcome

Thanks for looking!

Looks like a good all around package. How did you do the sheath? Did you use a foam press or heat gun?

I used a electric skillet that my wife gave me for the shop to heat the kydex and then pressed it all with foam from knifekits.com in my ghetto kydex press.

Looking good brother! Your work continues to impress me and I really like your kydex sheaths. For a ghetto press they sure look swell and the camo is a nice change from the standard black. I like diversity :)

Well thank you much! I agree, black looks good but you do typically see it alot. Thanks for looking.

I know I'm jumping in at the end of this conversation, but could you post a picture of the reverse of your sheath, so we can see how you attached the leather loop? Unless that's a proprietary thing, I mean.

Thanks!

I'll second the pin placement, IMO both pins should move toward the rear 1/2 to 3/4"? I really like the blade design, reminds me of a wharncliffe crossed with a Russell Canadian. Hey, I haven't even finished my 1st stock removal knife so my opinion may be worth less than what it cost you;)

Thank you and yes that top pin is a little closer than I wanted it to be, I shaved off more of the scales than I had originally planned on.

Like it sir. Like your point being more dropped than most

Thank you, the point got dropped alot on accident. I profiled the blade from the side I had my layout on and then flipped it over and found a deep cut from a cut off wheel which I thought would not be in the way, but I was wrong!! I like the way this one turned out though!
