New steel in the mail today! And even sweeter: it was free steel. Thanks so much to hhmoore for doing the awesome giveaway in honor of reaching the millennial marker in post count. I've been planning some mods for it since I found out I won and, as it turns out, my weekend has freed up and should be able to do it Friday night and Saturday!

It's not going to be super extravagant - strip the blade, leaving the coating under the handles, and then force a patina. Have a fun idea for the patina that I'm hoping will work and could be a cool effect if it comes out.
