I got this BK9 leather/kydex pancake sheath from J.D. at the last Fall Beckerwest gathering. It is awesome!
It has a black kydex back and a black leather front with some subtle OD tiger stiping.
The retention is amazing. I wouldn't think that it would lock in as good as it does with the leather front, but it does!
I sent it back with J.D. to have a belt loop added. Complete with the skull and crossbones logo. I was very happy with it. Most of my sheaths are danglers and I really like the way they ride. So once again I hassled J.D. to see what he could do. He didn't dissapoint! He added the dangler attachment to the belt loop and now this sheath is better than ever!
The construction is very rugged and durable.
It definately has the swagger and style that only 710 can pull off.
I'd reccomend 710's work to anybody out there looking for a new custom sheath.
His work is amazing and his customer service is outstanding!
