My 710's evolution

It all started when I received a 710 in a trade.
It was an LE 710-1 in M390.
The ice breaker was when I did a liner polish & installed some standoffs.
But, I couldn't stop there.....

Those are really lovely. You do some great work. You're really a fan of matching the scales to the liners with the skeletonizing aren't you?

Thanks.
Yup, I really do like to add the holes.
It gives the knife uncomparable grip....no matter what the material is.
Even coarse peelply is grippier with the holes added.
The added bonus is the way it looks.

It really does work with the 710, it's my first U.S.-made Benchmade, and I love it. Continuously surprised at the attention to detail in the design.

I really like the look of the first one you put up, that polish and the scale material works so well together!

Your work looks great as always.I am really diggin' the polished liners!I don't think I have seen that done on any of your other 710's. Thanks for the knife porn!

That's really cool how you made holes in the scales. Gives it that something extra black handles with satin blades just can't compare to.

Those are fantastic looking blades...wow.Never seen anything like it.

looks good, but I kinda dislike the holes on the handle, just sayin'
That's cool.
To each his own.
I've done many 710 scales without the holes too.
These are just my personal knives, the one's I carry.
Check out the CBM's thread for some I did without the holes.

Nice, I like. Making me want to get another 710, back into the rotation. Been a few years since I traded away my last one.

@Keyman
Awesome scales, especially wood ones!
How much would you charge for them?
Egg/oval shape scale instead of factory flat?
Can you make it with index finger choil?
Holes for deep pocket clip with 4 position carry? I prefer tip down carry!

Thanks Guys.
Send me an email to talk $.

Egg or oval?....

I do not normally modify the original shape of the liners.
So no index finger choil.
Yup, I can definitely make them with 4 position clip mounts.
