Just thought I'd share. The micarta that I acquired from the auction site a few years ago was a little more suited for Ka-bar era Beckers, so it's not an exact fit, but it's close. The light makes it look worse than it is. I'll probably clean up the fit a little more, though. I love this beast. All .210" of it.

(Sorry for the crappy pics. I had just about finished the handles and wanted to get a few shots. I'll get some better ones up soon.)

From the FAQ:

From the Camillus literature: '''Exclusive high carbon steel (0170-6C) flat ground blade, 58-59 RC blade hardness, black epoxy coating, Becker trademark GV6H ergonomic handles, Kydex multi-carry sheath system, Proudly made in the USA''' and '''??? inch overall length, 9.0 inch length blade, .025 inch thick blade'''

o Camillus era
oo Shape: clip point
oo Edge Angle: 20 degrees
oo Grind: flat
oo Steel: 0170-6
oo Rc hardness: 58-59
oo Blade length: 9 inches
oo Overall length: 14.75 inches
oo Blade thickness: 0.21 inches
oo Knife Weight: 18.25 ounces
oo Handle: Esta-Loc or Grivory-GV-6H
oo Sheath: Kydex
oo Origins: knife made in USA, sheath made in china
oo MSRP: US$96.50

Thicker is better in my opinion, but that KaBar BK9 swedge is top notch. I also the the non thumb-ramped, jimped look. Thanks for sharing.

I gotta ask, is de-ramping a 9 primarily for looks (and don't get me wrong, it looks great) or does it also help with the use/ergonomics of the knife?
