My Acquisition of a BK3

So, my wife's sister and her family stayed with us for a couple of weeks. It was great to have my nephews and one of my nieces at the house and it's always good to see my SIL & BIL.

I was showing my BIL my BK2 early on during their visit and he was very impressed with the construction of the knife. Later, I saw him researching the entire BK line and he was asking a bunch of questions.

The night before they left at dinner my BIL says, "Hey, thanks for letting us stay with you guys the last couple weeks," and hands me an Amazon box with a brand new BK3 in it!

Can't wait to get it out and knock around with it!

Hehe - he admitted that ordering that one was a tiny bit self-serving. He was thinking about getting one for himself, but he wanted to get his hands on one first. So he got it for me so he could handle it a bit. :-)

Also, I watched a YouTube video when David from Ultimate Survival Tips interviewed Ethan Becker at Blade Show a couple years ago and he had Ethan talk extensively about the BK3 in it. I knew the answers to a number of my BIL's questions about the 3 because I remembered what Ethan said about it in the video.

Ultimately, he could have gotten me anything from the Becker line and I would have been happy. :-)
