My Alan Davis Custom I call BIG BLUE review!

Guys I will tell you Alan Davis knows how to make a knife! This is the second one he did for me to my specs. I wanted a reverse tanto blade with S35VN steel and his rope file work on the blade and WHAT A WONDERFUL JOB!!! His rope work is AWESOME!! I also wanted textured Royal Blue G10 Handles and titanium liners that were blued along with a blued low rider pocket clip and it turned out PERFECT! The other thing I wanted was him to put in his bearing system which he could not do on my last one he did for me because it was a frame lock. This is a liner lock so he put the bearing system in and YOU WILL NOT GET ANY SMOOTHER!!! This knife is AWESOME! It also has a sterling silver thumb stud which looks real cool! Alan is a pro at making a knife with ZERO BLADE PLAY and this one has ZERO!! I just got this knife and have only carried it a day and have not used it yet but Alan sends it RAZOR SHARP! He also does a GREAT JOB of heat treating the blades and will put what ever knid of finish on the blade you want. I sharpened the other knife he made for me on my Edge Pro at a 30 degree angle and it will shave toilet paper and is SCREAMING SHARP! You really need to check out Alan Davis and his AWESOME work. The OL is 8", the blade is 3 1/2 " and the weight is 5.3 oz.

Alan told me in my 1st phone call with him that a lot of his customers buy 2 or 3 knives from him. I guess you're hooked....haha.

He's almost ready to make a folder for me too.

IDK about it being BIG but I love the way the pocket clip is designed. Any pics of it riding in your pocket?

The bearing system seems pretty intresting too.

Sorry no pics in the pocket but I can tell you that you can just see about 1/4 inch of the knife! The bearing system that Alan does is as smooth as BUTTER! He will do any size knife you want and he does flippers too. You can give him your specs and he will do it as close to you want as he can. You have to remember everything is HAND DONE! Email him with your idea of what you want and he will quote you a price and I promise it will be as cheap as you can get! His prices are VERY FAIR! Kevin :thumbup:
