Just wanted to post some pics to see what people thought of some sheaths I’ve made recently. Usually make these things for myself out of necessity.

My edc fixed blade. Sheath has been holding up nicely so far for almost 2 months now.

Sheath for a Templar’s Choice by Veneman Arms knife (not my knife)

A couple sheaths for some folders. Will be selling some of these elsewhere.

As long as they fit the purpose, you are golden. As far as looks go, the stitching on some specimens, while evenly spaced, doesn't seem to follow the contours of the leather cutouts correctly. One of the folders sheaths has a stitching which is not on par with the other sheaths, thread seems too thin and not tightened enough (does not look as recessed as the others). I cannot see the edges of the sheaths but as long as they are well finished (burnished so they look seamless) they should be fine.

But again, if you don't make a living doing sheats or are a semi-pro maker... they look fantastic!!

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll look into the stitching more. I think I need to get better thread too since it’s pretty cheap thread. The burnishing is decent but can def improve. I hand burnish with a little water and wax but will be getting a burnishing attachment for my dremel soon.
