Hey all, I just wanted to say thanks for all your help. The forums are my main outlet/exposure to other makers. I have not done much networking here in Michigan, just too easy to not leave the house/shop and bounce ideas off of you all.

This coming Thursday (5/29/03) will be my One year anniversary date for when I forged my first Damascus blade. If my memory serves me right, I started researching, experimenting, and buying equipment in December of 2001 and built my first forge in January 2002.

There is no doubt in my mind that I would not be where I am today without your help. I extend all of my sincerest thanks to all of you whether you have replied to me directly or not. It is the entire community here that makes this place special.

O.K. enough of the mushy stuff;) If you are interested, I put together a little HTML that shows just about everything that I have done in the past year. I don't have alot of dates in there but all the pictures of knives/blades are in chronological order.

It has been a great ride so far, and I can't wait to see what happens in the next year. Hell, maybe I will actually get some pins to fit in the scales without epoxy showing around them.:D

Thanks Again-

Sean

Sean, you sure have done some great work in a year's time! I expected because of your work you turn out to have a shop that would cover an acre. Not meaning anything wrong with your shop, just great work, and lots of it. It doesn't look like you had need of advice from what you have done in one short year, friend. This old codger looks forward to seeing your posts and knives. You show a lot of pride in your work, guy.

Way to Go!!!!!
Congrats on the first year and best wishes for more enjoyable years to come.
