I have been wanting to build a technical bushcraft knife and sheath for some time now. So in between working on knife and leather orders I have been working on this prototype knife and sheath combo. The knife is a stone washed S90V with carbon fiber handles 8.75 OAL. 3.750 blade at .165 thick.

The sheath is a component style sheath with a larger removable pouch that can hold a sharpening stone, fire starter, small compass, and other survival type gear. Wickett & Craig 7/8 oz saddle skirting.

Going to put the knife and sheath thru the paces the next few weeks and see where changes need to be made.
Thnaks for looking Richard

Great design work and flawless execution and finish. Looks like a big winner on all levels. ..

Great looking combo! The molding on that pouch is impeccable, well done. :)

That's a great looking sheath, well designed and well crafted. The removable pouch is very convenient to carry and allows other small survival gears to be stored and brought along. Looks really sleek and compact. Awesome work!

Man that looks good.

If that is the level of work you put into a prototype, can't imagine the quality of your finished work!

I'm more of a kydex kinda man but I'll give credit where credit is due....that is sweet!
