Mentioned in another thread I was planning a dropleg rig for my soon to arrive RC-4, in the mean time I decided to do a trial run with some old scraps of Cordura and a Izula sheath.

While its pretty ugly (ropey hand stiching, miss placed screw hole etc.) I'm pretty please with the fit and function.

Looks pretty good to me. Fit and function are the name of the game and you said it has both. Much better job than I think I could do. Wrap some 550 cord around it and you will never see the misplaced holes. Good job!

it was more a trial than a keeper - I wanted to know if i could make a stable platform that would handle the stiffness of the kydex draw - seems to work pretty well with no bend or flex have some new materials for the RC4 and the misses will let me on her machine too :)

I'm going to make a small kydex drop loop for the Izula sheath

and oddle enough i just finished applying some paracord to the sheath smustian

Where did you get your Kydex?

I wish Kydex and good quality leather were available locally. :)
