Since Autos are now legal in Texas I dug out my four. They are all after market. I don't know who made them but three are very well done.
One is a bit sketchy..

The FG has a Idaho blade. The Cherry and green ones have 2004 blades.. Those three are Nickle silver so really nice.

But I find the Red and Green most interesting and what I will be most likely to carry because they are both what I call double action.
They can be open with the button or manually like a regular 110. I think in some circumstances opening manually would draw less attention than the snap of using the button.

So my point is, if Buck had the NS in S30V that could be deployed either manually or auto, I would be in for a couple.

Now the other one, Blade says Buck USA tip up, no date code, and on the back side says 440 Stainless Steel. Back on the front is a Cumberland Mountain Knife and Tool logo...

So in all I find the two dual action the most interesting and what I would love to see from Buck. But that long button is ugly.. o_O

Oh, They all have Gret Snap

Nice knives Larry. Interesting button on the FG, I have not seen that one prior. The Cumberland model is interesting. Brass screws for scale pins is sort of a cool modification. I would like to see the stamping on the Cumberland if you've a pic handy.

There were several Cumberland Mountain autos discussed a while back. A lady was selling them and wanted information. Might dig around google and BF search and come up with the thread.

Thanks for the pic. That tang looks nothing like any Buck blade I've seen before. Neither do the stampings. Wondering if that was something Buck produced for Cumberland.

Yeah,,, I should have said some of that in my comments. Just wasnt that interested. The frame is the only thing Buck.
No clue, but doubt, that Buck had anything to do with that knife. IDK

I did learn something while playing with these four. I found that I could grip the knife with fingers on the blade and depress the blade while releasing the button. While still holding the button down I could either let the blade slip and go ahead and fire, or I could depress it back down and release the button, locking it back in place.

With the blade released and me still holding it in place I could then manually open it .
Took a little playing around with it them but I got the hang of it. Only one sliced a bit of a finger... lol

Maybe you all with autos know all of that.... Im an auto novice for sure..
