My Awesome Brend Hatchet!

Here is a picture of my awesome new Brend Field Grade Hatchet. The Brend came with a great Kydex sheath/weapon cover and 10 feet of OD Paracord. Before I wrapped the handle I rubbed down the parkerized surface with BreakFree CLP, just to clean it up and give it a nice semi-gloss finish. Then I got down to wrapping. I choose a "spiral wrap" starting with a few cords running along the handle axis underneath the outer wrapping to make the final wrap bigger around. What the picture can't convey is how cool the hollow ground blade looks. Or how the spike has four sides and makes a diamond-shaped hole. I believe this Brend hatchet is a great value for the money. No wall hangers for me... the Brend Hatchet is going to earn it's keep in my shooting kit.
