Here are my axe and my hatchet, my companions in the woods, sometimes one and sometimes the other.
Hatchet is custom made. Handles and leather I made myself.

I like the sheath/sling on the axe, nice leatherwork. Do you wear it across your back or over a shoulder?

Excellent axe and hatchet! Superb leather work too! Who is the manufacturer of the hatchet? That's a unique and intriging poll design.

The handles and letaher work look great. I love the sheath/strap combo on the bigger one. I have a tomahawk with a somewhat similar setup.

There were few questios asked, I want to answer them.
- to BlueSky: I wear the axe in many ways - over the shoulder (sometimes), across the back (rearly) or in the rucksask (mostly)
- to CitizenQ: The hatchet is one of a kind and was made by my uncle 28 years ago. He used to work in a tool factory. I draw the plans. The steel is excellent, but I don't know which steel it is.
- to CitizenQ: Poll design. Similar hatchets with round or square poll are used by forestry employees in Europe for marking trees in the forest. Those hatchets have a metal stamp on the poll. My hatchet has flat, even poll, so I can use it as a hammer.
- to Stephen5: hatchet: cutting edge 7 cm, edge to poll 13,5 cm, poll diameter 3,5 cm, handle 27 cm, weight (with handle) 0,75 kg.
