I just joined here so I thought I would post a picture of my Bill Bagwell custom bowie.

I carried this knife for 4 yrs in the Army, and it has seen action all over the world.

Is that it wedged in front of the Audi?

Cerberus

Nope, that is just a hose and a nozzle and it is releasing that spray that you see going under the car and past the wheel.

hodge175, I see the picture too, it is just that it is an Audi not a Bagwell.

Thanks Anthony - glad to see a Bagwell somewhere in this thread. hoge175 - if you're having problems posting e-mail me the pic and I'll put it up for you.

Cheers,

Roger

PS - Keith - what bowie is that in your avatar? And could you tell me how the heck I shrink a pic small enough to use it as an avatar?

Now I'm seeing your Bagwell hodge - great stuff! That knobby stag handle looks great - is it comfortable? I'd love to hear more about the knife - dimensions and such, but more importantly you impressions of it having carried it for many years.

Cheers,

Roger

It's just over 9 inches made from Damascus steel, he made it for me in 1988. My first one broke while he was making it. The handle offers a very good grip, but it is alittle on the rough side. Over all it is a great knife and razor sharp when sharpened correctly.

That is the Bagwell that I've dreamed of since reading the first installment of "Battle Blades" in SOF...way back when.
Too  for words!

Roger, that is a just completed 11 1/2" Bowie by Ron Newton.

All I do to get my pictures that small is to use Photoshop and resize the picture so that the largest dimension is 120 pixels and then I use Corel to make sure that the picture is not over 10,000 bytes. I have not figured out how to do that on Photoshop. There must be a way, so if anyone can tell me what it is I would really appreciate it.

Yea SOF I used to read SOF all the time back in the day, not much of a fan of it anymore. That is where I first found out about Mr. Bagwell. I am thinking about adding a Greg Covington to go with it or maybe the new Chris Reeve SF blade.

Great bowies, fellas. Anyone else have a Bagwell they can share a photo of?
I just ordered his book, I'm probably gonna call to get on the list soon.

Here is a pic of a Bagwellian Bowie that I just finsihed this weekend.....10" blade, 5160.....5/16" thick. Nickel silver guard and ferrule with an ebony grip and big brass pins.
