My Basic SAR 5

I'm finding SAR 5 to be a bit heavy for a 5” hiking knife, which got me thinking.....so,besides being a poor photoshop job, what do you guys think?

You might try a Scrapper 5 SE or LE or the 511 or last but certainly not least a B6.......

I do like 511 a lot, but lukewarm about the new B6.

Go 5-11. I just got one and I love it. Careful with your fingers around the choil area though. The 5-11 bites. Nevertheless, it's a fantastic blade. It looks a lot like your mock up, but with a longer and steeper drop point and a smaller handle.

If you've already got something that's 5" long why not get a BJ?

It's only 3/4s of an inch longer than the 5-11.
