Head: 1/4 inch S5 Steel

Handle: Wood covered with carbon fibre tube.

Head cover: Kydex

Nice spike, but me thinks that the chopping head is too narrow...It would be "better" if it was a couple inches wider, IMO, as it would have a "better" striking area.

Andy,

I didn't mean to bust deviant11's balls, as that IS a nice-looking 'Hawk, it's just that the excellent 'Hawks that I have from ATC have spoiled me for all the rest.:D.

...And I really do like a w i d e cutting head on my 'Hawks (such as on the Roger's Rangers Spike 'Hawk), since it allows for more striking surface, in-case of a near-miss hit.

...no hump busting was presumed...your thoughts on edge length and its value are spot on. :D

reminds me of one the chick in Alien vs. Predator had when going down the ice tunnel... definate flare for a intimidating piece :D

Impressive. I wonder where I could lay hands on carbon fiber tubes for a project of mine?

OMFG!! Thats the baddest mofo I've ever seen! It would be a great tactical hawk, but I don't think it would chop very well, but thats not what it's for. :)

Hope to see it on friday :D It looks very nice if you ask me! Altough I'm more found of your other designs, the one piece tommy's.
