Since starting to collect Busse's in 2007 I've tried to keep up with the Combat Grade and now Battle Grade versions of the Mistress. CGFBM, FFBM, NMFBM, BWM, ASHBM, Choiless ASHBM, BS, EBM2 and the four recent Battle Grade offerings.

I've purchased all of them directly from Busse except for the first two. The Combat Grade Battle Mistress was a recent release in '07 and no longer available so I had to take what I could get and got it in Bruiser G-10. The Fat Flat Fusion Battle Mistress was a Busse Company Store offering. I happened to score it in Black G-10 with Black coating so I kept it on all of the others.

In this next pic you can see how the original CBTs were crisper and the crinkle coating was more matte.

After a fiasco with the post office I finally got my Battle Grade Battle Saw. Its Talon Hole is bigger than the INFI version but otherwise they seem identical.

The original FFBM is a behemoth. Has the penetrator tip, sharper machined G-10 and much thicker stock.

Thanks for looking!

Nice!!! These pictures are excellent. I cant wait for this " Forsaken mistress" to go on sale. I definitely need one of these in my life.
Congrats on the excellent set

That is a thing of true beauty !! Really great pics as well. If I didn't have a few battle mistresses already this would be enough to convince me to jump.

That is one beautiful Mistress collection!
Those original CBT's on the CGFBM are crisper because they stick out like speed bumps from the blade and all the rest are sunken into it. ;)

Nice collection. Let me know if you ever want to let go of one of your Battle Saws.

Thanks guys. The NMFBM is from the original two week window. I bought 2 and traded one away. Top five biggest Busse mistakes that I have made.

Nice. The first purchase I made on BF 8 or 9 years ago was an identical NMFBM to yours. I unfortunately no longer have it. Thanks for showing the collection. It's great to see.

I think the little things they do to differentiate the BG and CG are kinda neat. I always knew about the different talon hole sizes but it looks like they also took one groove out of the CBT on the BG Battle saw.

Good eye and good to know for future reference!
