Here are some pics of my modified bk2. what I did is took out the strap that the sheath has on the back and used the same support that the sheath comes ( to attach the strap) and fitted a tek lok.

I also polished the blade of the knife and did some paracord wrapping on the handle plus I put a ranger band to improve the grip on the knife.

The edge on the knife I fitted a micro convex edge and the cutting performance of the knife improved a lot, now it has a razor edge.

I also adapted a bungee cord with a rod on the lanyard hole to improve the retention of the knife, since I wear it scout style.

Any recomendation or opinions are well received

Awesome work, brother. That is one BIG grip you got there. Got an extra knuckle on your fingers?:D

Welcome to the Becker forums and Bladeforums, we are glad you are here.

kewl man.. I like the bungee action.. its all about thinking it through huh?

Welcome to BladeForums and particularly BeckerForum.....

I really like scout style, especially for a knife this size.. and weight..

good job, I've also removed the strap myself, but that's as far as its gone..

Any chance of getting a better look at the sheath? That'd be my preferred way of carrying it and I'd love to see the solution you came up with.

Thanks!

sure ill post some pictures of the sheath as soon as I get back home, right now Im in another city for work.

The reason I paracorded is becuase I have big hands and the old scales kind of needed....extra real state lol. just more confortable for my taste

here is a video of the sheath....it was before I did the polishing job on the knife owever it does explain the sheath

the idea of the tek lok came from a guy in you tube....I think it is called healthmaster or something like that, he had a video of a Bk2 with orange scales.

and the bungee thing came from another you tube video I saw I guy that did this also but with a metal rod ( mine is made of Teak wood)
