So my Becker adventure started a year ago when I gave in to my inner bush pig and bought the BK2 with the logic that this would be the end all and be all to my knife collection. The BK2 did everything I asked and more. It excelled at most everything but I was still not satisfied..I finally broke down about 6 weeks ago and bought the BK9....holy crap what a blade...like really...holy ****!!!! Bighoss has it right you can't not have a BK9....so much so I am even thinking about getting one for the wife..might be a mistake as I might have to hide hers and use it properly when she goes to bed..shhhhhh! Anyways the BK9 was lonely for more becker folk so it requested a BK10 be added to the mix and in the couple of days since it arrived the banging this blade has proven itself to be one very capable knife. I slices, it dices and if it could walk the dog I'd be done buying blades and close out my ebay account. Alas I still have to walk the poor beast so I feel that gives me license to purchase more beckers...so unfortunately for my battered and bleeding bank account there is currently enroute to my collection a BK 4 (this will be fun) a BK7 and a BJ16. Also not to be outdone I just got word that a Camillus era military version of the BK2 has shipped today. The serrated version that I have lusted over since my BK2 purchase. Anyways I think I am going to have to order something very flashy for the wifey or else I am ordering the BK-divorce lawyer. In the mean time until she kills me or the other beckers arrive I am left playing with the 3 beckers in my shed.

Also I want to put a shout out to tommythewho..the bloodwood scales are awesome..can't wait until the next set show up. Your a true craftsman.

Enjoy you beckers everyone...as you can tell I have recently enjoyed my BK9..damn that thing chops like crazy!!!

Sounds like your going to have quite the collection .
Makes me want to order some Beckers myself.
With Father's Day coming up I might have to treat myself to a new present.
I need a 9, I can't not have a 9.

Enjoy your new collection, and congrats.

I actually feel bad for my malamute .. he is going to be lugging most of this metal in the woods on the next hike for a trail run.... except the 9 that is going with me!

Get your wife a BK15 for the kitchen, or a BK5 if you think she will like a knife that big in the kitchen. Just make sure she doesn't use it to cut off................ OK, never mind. :D For me, it's guns & knives, for her it's purses & shoes. It just works.......................well, kinda. See, i just don't see the need to pay what they charge for purses. I feel the price for that product is just not worth it, after, say $150-200. Unless it can survive dire conditions, like Maxpedition or Kifaru etc. .In my head: a knife will last for ever & never loose it's value. Not so sure if that holds true with purses & certainly not shoes. But i say nothing. She enjoys them, as i enjoy mine. I have to be VERY quiet about this now. I just traded a formerly legal gun, that was made illegal, by our lovely Gov, for a brand new & legal Savage Mod 10 FCP-K bolt action in .308 ($995 MSRP) and a Leupold Mark 4 4.5-14 w/Ill TMR reticle ($1799 MSRP). So, even though it didn't technically count as a purchase, it was new & therefore, by default, the wife considers that the same. LOL Life is not fair, ya just gotta find what works for the both of ya !!! :D

NOTE: Please don"t let my wife read this........it may cost me a purse or some shoes !!! LMAO :D

As a side note, I will be willing to take any "illegal" firearms off the hands of any other New Yorkers. We don't have all those pesky unconstitutional laws in Utah.
