My benchmade 581 project is almost done

It's finally coming together and I wanted to show it off

All i have left to do is trim the mokume down to size, clean up edges, and sharpen that beautiful blade of course.

What you can't see:

I de-assisted it and polished mating surfaces. The scales are layered red g10 and carbon fiber, and the metal accent is raindrop mokume from sakmar

Are you done polishing the blade? What did you use? I one tried to polish up a 581's M390 blade with a little metal polish & it just ignored me. I'm really liking this project of yours.

Yeah, polishing was a bitch. I used diamond compound on a buffing wheel and a dremel
