i've had some good presents come this year. 18X24 surface plate, wood cutting bandsaw, dust collection system and much more. but nothing tops the gift from my Teacher and very good friend, Indian George He gave me one of his knives, and a beauty it is. Thats the #1 knife i wanted in my collection, from the buddy that taught me more than i can repay him for, and still puts up with my sh*t ;) thanks for helping me out and getting me started IG and continuing to teach me. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

I got a staked tool box set, saw bucks, best of all.....time with my family.

Yeah,

Mike,

A knife as a present from Indian George would certainly make for a Merry Christmas.

Even though IG is an ugly:eek: , ornery, ugly:eek: ,hard ass, ugly:eek: , ball bustin', SOB, he does have a heart of gold.

Oh, did I mention that IG is also very UGLY (too much RELISH)?

Mike, ya gotta put up a pic of the blade.

Cable Damascus bolsters with bronze pins and file work on bolsters and spine, blood wood slabs with 1/8 copper mosaic pins and copper liners.
GrassHoppa; For a person of your age you show more maturity and common sense than a few of my other friends (not burning or dropping). You are always ready to chip in on supplies and the meals on Saturdays. I think my present to you was well deserved. :D :D

That is one beauty of a knife. I can see where that blade as a present would make for a Merry Christmas.:D

IG, you flatter me with the immaturity bit, it gives me that warm bubbly feeling inside. :D

What a nice knife for a gift! I dint git anything knife reated this year. IG put me down for next year :D

That certainly was a nice gift, but it sounds like the best gift you guys gave to each other is your friendship :) Making friends in this small world of knives we are involved in, is what makes it all worth doing. ;)
