That's all, I was pretty stoked when I opened the package because I thought it was a Ratweiler. Out of the many I have on order this is one that I was really wanting to get my hands on it. The .25 is a great thickness on a knife this size.

I finally broke down and bought a smartphone (gal7) so I might as well put it to good use and give some hogs a size comparison pic. :cool:

I have found out I am not a big fan of the ASH handles. I dont have big hands, they just feel kind of of tight compared to the others.

Ive been collecting knives since I was in the Boy Scouts, almost 50 yo now and I only found out about Busse last summer. Purchased that moss rodent6 above to see what all the fuss was about and was hooked by the voodoo. Then O2W started and its been all downhill from there. That is what I have scored so far plus a Rucki.

I think I have 8 more on order, I seriously am not joking that I hope hope Jerry takes his sweet time getting the rest to me. One a month max would be great.

Funny you say the Ratweiler handle is your fav, i have a Rat Daddy that has the same handle shape minus the mountains and valleys of the micarta - it's just flat. Great handle design but i prefer the TGLB handle over it. Maybe i need to try out the new handle...i have been eyeballing it for a while! :rolleyes:

I have also changed up on the colors a bit for the blades I am still waiting on. Love Tanker and Black mic. I ordered a Moss blade on the HWS, thats going to be Sweet! Baby boom went moss/maroon, War Train and the big Team Gemini and Boom Parang Tanker/maroon.

Oh I passed up on a great many of them. Now I can only order the ones that would haunt me eternally if I passed them up. When I ordered the AK47 I said it was over, then came the War Train, and the Big Ass TG, and the Boom Parang, and the baby boom and finally the HWS. Seriously how could anyone pass those up?
 
Still waiting on a email back. I tried to get on any cancellation list for a snfo and a hellrazor but no response yet. Om trying to get the whole BG collection! Ive pulled the trigger on most on a fair bit of em but missed out on a few. If not ill snag em off the exchange.
 
A picture of mine with a few that have showed up in the last couple weeks. I couldn't remember how many Ratweilers I bought, but apparently they are knocking them out by color because this one came in Thursday.

I should also brag on member Flatfoot for the convex edge he put on the Hell Razor in the picture. I have always like the Hell Razor for a woods knife, thick enough to feel substantial but not too thick to actually cut. Flatfoot put one of the best convex edges on this knife that I have ever seen, not to mention doing a great job stripping and modding the butt. I have purchased several knives from him and have been pleased with all of them.
 
Sweet looking blade! The BGSFNO may come pretty darn close to the ideal, all around, survival knife. Great lines, perfect balance and tough as the guards of Hades. Pair this one up with your M4 GB folder and you'll be ready to tackle any task at hand. Good stuff!
