My big dilemma....

I've had my eye on the cold steel kukri in sk 5 and the crkt hisshou and I can't decide which one I want. I thought just get both but which one should I get first? Or should I just say to hell with it and get me a new scrapizashi What should I do?

one heck of a choice newbie!
but not one that would be so incredibly tough to make.
i figure that you've sorted out the primary specific intention for each knife type?
i also assume that you are well aware that the hisshou is no edc...
so, it's a no brainer to start out with a kukri;
which according to many an owner, seems to cover just about all bases.
but, if there is one thing i've learnt about wants,
is that it's pure mental torture to have to keep on yearning.

I like the look of the Scrappy but if you need a brush cutter A Kukri can be a better carry choice. I would look at this one.

I may be new to this site but I am hardly a newbie when it comes to knives

I would get the Scrapizashi. You never know when they will or will not offer such a blade again. You can get a kukri anytime. The Hisshou is really a self defense blade made more for thrusting and stabbing than anything else. It really isn't made for utility and brush cutting.

You might want to look at the Boker Kukri also.There is a video of one on youtube.
