So this weekend was my bday and I wanted to do nothing else but go out in the wood and camp for a couple days. I worked on Ethans July challenge, and failed, but will post the pix of what I got done when i get them. I used my hammock for the first time and other than the shivering cold I woke up to at 3am it was probably the best sleep I had had in quite some time. Moose I might put some "i" bolts in my house somewhere too ;) thanks. I played with most of my BK knives (wishing I has my 10 the whole time though) and the RC-5 that I just got. Well enough talk; pictures I know. :) enjoy.

Knives first,
My present to myself  (i also took the pic for TW with the 9 being king and all)

Looks like a fun birthday weekend, so how older are you now?

I'm one year older now. ;) 29

It was mostly fun. A couple things kinda bummed me out, but you can have a good time the whole time..........can you?

That looks like a nice area, hope you had a good time bro.

Thanks for the pics......I hope summer last along time this year

Looks like a hell of a good time brother. Those are some excellent photos. Sony takes some nice shots. I really like this one:

coors? i'm disappointed :) IPA at least to go with good booze.

self-timer photograph? or did you have company? tell all!

Glad he didn't invite any of us. I am sure none of us would have liked to spend time in that beautiful environment. It probably would have been fun and knives would have been chopping and cutting and banging around. Yup, sounds like a crap time to me.

Happy BDay, schmuck.

Cool pics. That hammock is nice but you're going to want insulation under you - a pad or an underquilt - something.

Excellent pics, happy birthday man!

Thanks guys!

Well ya should of left her home then. ;)

It wasn't my wife, she did stay home. It was the other people that were there crying about their wife and something that she had said while we were all drinking. Seriously?!?

How did you know I use a Sony? Did I tell you that, or are you just good and know that kinda stuff just from looking at the pic? ;)

I'm not much for the IPA's. I like pilsners, wheat beers, most of the beers from the micro breweries around here, and Guinness.

As far as the people that were there with me, one guy was suppose to be the other half in this months contest and he decided to be lazy and not make much of a chair until it was time to go, so yeah.........

Yeah you wouldn't like it up here anyway, and besides I think the closest beckerhead is about 50 miles away and he isn't very active on the board so I don't really know him.

Thanks, punk!!

Coors Light.

Drinking an ice cold Coors Light right now.

Thank you! It might not be the greatest beer, but it is certainly one of the greats.

It would be cool if you started working on your beckerhead quals. We are having a gathering in Sept. and then there would be a BH closer to go do camping and hiking stuff with too. :D

I had my wool blanket down but I don't think I was laying all the way on it. I woke up at 3am shivering uncontrolably for a bit. I had to get out and sit by the fire for a while to warm up again. After that though I had the blanket up to my head and slept pretty good till dawn, 6am.

And this just in.

Nick, right clicked the photo, and viewed the EXIF data. Looks to be a Sony DSC-P200.

Some guys can't control their rye.

With being cold in a Hamok, if you bring a good thermos and you put boiling water in there before you go to sleep keeps you warm all night. At least myself.

Edit: Sorry for being an idiot, happy b-day man!
