O.K...So I stripped my BK-2 last week and had full plans on putting a high polish on her.
Could'nt decide on that or maybe Clich'n this bad boy.
But after I stripped it I noticed that the machine markings on the bare blade look pretty awesome.
I think I'll leave it like this. It almost seems like this is what a BK-2 should look like.

What do you guys think??

Looks good. That's what I like on my Beckers too, leave the flats pretty much alone after stripping and bring the bevel up a bit with some progressive sanding. I just did it to my BK-9, working on some liners for it and when they are done I will post up some pics.

What are you using for liners?
 
I admire the etchings done by many here, but I prefer to leave mine bare after stripping.
 
Well stripped. Now you should try some crazy etch technique I have been hearing about...
 
That looks great! How did you leave the flats dark but the grind polished?

The flats are dark because they have'nt been machined. The grind looked that way after stripping. I hit it with some 180 grit for about a minute and decided I liked it how it was.
